Emma and Rowan’s Wedding Highlights Video

Wedding Singer available at The Alma

Here we have a little video I’ve made showing some highlights of Emma and Rowan’s brilliant and fun filled wedding at The Alma Inn at Laneshaw Bridge. The happy couple had booked my acoustic wedding singer and DJ services to provide my All Day Wedding Package. This meant I was to sing during various parts of the wedding ceremony, for the drinks reception, provide a background playlist for the wedding breakfast and provide live music in the evening, along with a DJ service! Phew! To be honest though, the day absolutely flew by! Fun weddings are like that – one minute you’re pulling up to unload your equipment and the next minute it’s time to go home!

As far as I can tell, the day went perfectly form start to finish. The ceremony was touching and the room immaculately dressed – very classy. I could see from my position at the back that Rowan had started tearing up long before Emma even made her appearance. I’ve seen on the beautiful pictures (taken by Anna Wood Photography and featured on this blog) that he wasn’t the only one! Even the groomsmen became a little emotional!

Then we all went outside for the Alma’s always gorgeous canapés and drinks. I sang live music, entertained the guests and even sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star a few times through for one of the toddlers while pictures were being taken.

After the meal we had some more acoustic sing-a-longs on the patio as the sun started to set to lead us into the first dance. We all ventured inside for the first dance and the cutting of the cake and then we started one hell of a party that went on until 1:30am! Certain members of the crowd (including the bride!!) almost never stopped dancing! We had lots of live music which was a total pleasure for me. With a crowd that was as up for it as this lot, it could only ever be a pleasure. If you can’t enjoy playing to audiences like the ones in my video (below) you’re in the wrong game!
