YELLOW – COLDPLAY

Below is my finger style, acoustic guitar cover of Coldplay’s ‘Yellow’. I played this for the aisle walk of a couple that were married in the Lake District. I paced the song specifically to match an aisle walk and I was extremely happy with how this one turned out. Not too fast – not too slow.

YOU’RE MY BEST FRIEND – QUEEN

This one was a special one for me. I’ve been a massive Queen fan all my life, so it was a pleasure to really get to grips with an instrumental guitar version of one of their songs. Luckily it wasn’t Bohemian Rhapsody! I added a couple of notes from ‘Here Comes The Bride’ at the intro to add to the weddingy goodness!

‘GAME OF THRONES’ THEME TUNE

This is my instrumental guitar cover of the ‘Game Of Thrones’ theme song. This was a special request for a customer in Yorkshire as a surprise for the groom. I used my loop pedal to first layer the chords and then I played the lead live during the aisle walk. 

TALE AS OLD AS TIME – DISNEY

Tale As Old As Time was one of the first instrumental guitar pieces I learned for a wedding back in 2016! It’s a song that is especially suited to guitar and I’ve played it many times since.
