Here are some samples of the kind of instrumental guitar music I’m able to provide for various situations at a wedding. I can play some gentle instrumental guitar music as the bride walks down the aisle – specifically requested and specifically tailored to suit ANY mood or feeling the bride and groom are wanting to achieve. Not only can I play acoustic pieces as a solo artist, I can use my looper pedal to layer up music to give a bigger sound. Examples of both can be found in the highlights video directly below.
Below is my finger style, acoustic guitar cover of Queen’s ‘You’re My Best Friend’. I put this together specially for the aisle walk of a lovely couple whose wedding I played at in the Lake District recently. They had requested this song for the aisle walk which is why this is a shorter version than the original – the aisle walk is usually no longer than a minute or two. This version has been designed to be a fitting tempo for the situation and the first few notes are a little nod to the traditional ‘Here Comes The Bride’ wedding song to give it an extra little wedding day flavour.
The pictures are just a little slideshow of a few of the many wedding ceremonies and first dances I’ve been a part of.
